How Long will Blepharoplasty Last?
There's more good news: Blepharoplasty results can be maintained for many years and often outlast other cosmetic procedure results. If you choose a cosmetic surgeon who is experienced with blepharoplasty, there's a good chance you'll never need or want a second eyelid surgery during your lifetime. Check out some before and after photos of eyelid surgery patients.
Remember, however, that cosmetic surgery procedures like blepharoplasty can only seek to correct what Mother Nature has already done. So, in essence, having eyelid surgery will not protect you from future effects of aging or lifestyle. If you are in great health, don't smoke, and protect your skin from the sun, you've got a great chance at NOT looking your age for many years to come.
