What are the qualifications for membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons?

Each ASPS member must:

*Have at least five years of surgical training and a minimum of two years of plastic surgery training

*Be board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery

*Be trained and experienced in all plastic surgery procedures , including breast , body, face and reconstruction.

*Be peer reviewed for safety and ethical standards prior to attaining active membership.

*Only operate in accredited facilities.
