Will I lose sensation in my nipples after breast augmentation?

Although this is a reported complication of breast augmentation, it is very, very uncommon. Occasionally patients may have some hypersensitivity of the nipples , but this usually resolves in a few months. Areas of temporary sensory loss may persist for up to six months but usually return to normal after breast augmentation surgery.
