Breast Lift - Brazilian Mastopexy
In evaluating a patient for a breast lift, Dr. Linderman will determine the amount of lift required the quality of the skin, and the relative volume of any breast tissue. Often, a combination mastopexy and breast augmentation may be indicated. If adequate breast volume is present, a Brazilian mastopexy may be performed.
Brazilian mastopexy is a unique, innovative technique to correct breast ptosis for patients who have adequate volume and do not require or desire the addition of a breast implant. Dr. Linderman is one of the few surgeons who perform this procedure. The breast tissue is shifted superiorly and fixed in place by a loop of chest wall muscle which gives a superior lift maintained over time.
Breast Lift and Breast Augmentation Combined
It is not uncommon for breast lift patients to also want breast augmentation, which combines the breast lift procedure with the insertion of breast implants. Dr. Linderman’s breast augmentation practice offers this combined procedure. The combination of the breast lift with breast augmentation can help women achieve a firmer, more youthful bustline.
In many cases, Dr. Linderman also performs other body contouring procedures in conjunction with breast lift or breast augmentation. Breast are pendulous, but are a size that is satisfactory.
Breasts lack substance or firmness
Nipples and areolas point downward and are below the breast crease.
