Short Scar Facelift
In a continuing trend to offer innovative, less invasive techniques, Dr. Linderman performs a short scar facelift or SSF. This new procedure eliminates the traditional incision behind the ear. With less surgical dissection, recovery is quicker, bruising is decreased, and risk minimized. Candidates for SSF are in their 40s and 50s with early to moderate signs of aging. SSF may be combined with other minimally invasive techniques such as endoscopic brow lift.
Facelift Details
Dr. Linderman's facelift technique will give you a more youthful relaxed look by removing excess skin and jowls. The procedure will define your jawline, and tighten and reposition neck and facial muscles. The result is a more natural and younger appearance.
Facelift surgery performed by cosmetic surgeon Dr. Richard Linderman takes appporximately three hours unless combined with another procedure such as eyelift surgery or blepharplasty. The surgery is performed under a general anesthesia and often as an outpatient procdure. Brusing may last 7-10 days but camouflage makeup may be applied. You may resume normal acitivities about ten days.
